I once scoffed at the idea of having a robot vacuum cleaner cleaning my home.
I doubted that even the best one in Singapore would do a good job.
That was a decade ago. Technological improvement, a hectic life, and kids who have no qualms of making a mess caused me to reconsider my resolve.
After checking out dozens of reviews, I’ve decided to give robot vacuums a chance. It will be foolish not to when they appear to be efficient, intelligent gadgets that spare me from endless vacuuming.
If you’re fed up of removing dirt with conventional vacuum, this guide is for you.
Scroll on and check out the best vacuum cleaner that's worth your money.
As I studied in-depth reviews of the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950, I can only marvel at its well-developed features. First of all, I’m impressed by its speed and efficiency in removing dust from the floor.
The robot vacuum is engineered with Smart Navi laser navigation technology, which helps to map the floor of your home and move the vacuum around. What sets this robotic vacuum apart is its ability to map multiple floors, which makes it suitable for larger homes.
It’s also rare to find a robot vacuum that does a considerably good job in mopping the floor. For someone who detested mopping, I will rely on Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 950 to do most of the job for me.
What sealed it’s placed at the top spot is its user-friendly app. You can get the robot vacuum up and running in less than 10 minutes.
There’s very little keeping the Roborock S6 from taking the top spot. It has a powerful suction, which shows in its impressive cleaning performance.
This model could also clean for up to 3 hours, which is more than enough for a medium home like mine. It also maps the home with ease and glides around without losing itself. That’s the beauty of a laser-navigated robotic vacuum.
You can configure which zone to be clean and which areas are to be avoided with the app. But here’s where things get complicated. The Roborock S6 is using Xiao Mi Home App instead of a dedicated app, and accessing the mapping control isn’t that easy.
While I like the idea that it is capable of mopping too, the performance is not impressive. It’s an area to be improved if it hopes to claim the top spot.
